Anglo Renewables Ltd, in partnership with IG Renewables, is pleased to confirm the successful sale of a 28MW solar PV project in Essex.

The scheme was developed through the joint venture ETP-AR Energy and secured planning consent in February 2025. Following approval, the project has been sold to Triple Power Generation Ltd, a company managed by Triple Point.
This represents the first project from the ETP-AR Energy pipeline to achieve planning consent and be sold, marking an important milestone for the partnership and its portfolio of renewable energy developments.
In addition to delivering 28MW of clean, renewable energy, the project incorporates biodiversity net gains and includes a £25,000 community benefit fund to support local initiatives. These measures ensure the scheme delivers long-term environmental enhancement alongside tangible local community benefits.
James Stone, Managing Director of Anglo Renewables, commented:
“We’re proud to have delivered the first planning-approval and completed sale from our joint venture pipeline with IG Renewables. This milestone reflects the strength of the partnership and the hard work of the wider project team. As we continue to focused on identifying and progressing high-quality renewable energy opportunities that deliver environmental value and meaningful benefits for local communities.”
The ETP-AR Energy joint venture continues to advance a pipeline of solar PV projects across the UK.
Anglo Renewables would like to thank all project partners, consultants and stakeholders involved in progressing the scheme through planning and successfully completing the transaction.
