Planning consent achieved for Kimbolton solar farm project

Anglo Renewables is delighted to announce the approval of an 8MW solar farm project in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. Working in collaboration with a valued development partner, this project received consent from the Huntingdon District Council, marking a significant achievement in our commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

The 8MW solar farm is projected to generate renewable energy sufficient to power approximately 1,600 homes annually. This project will offset 1,400 tonnes of CO2 each year, making a substantial contribution to our environmental goals - equivalent to removing around 350 cards from the road annually.

James Stone, Managing Director at Anglo Renewables, expressed his enthusiasm for this milestone, stating, "We look forward to seeing our project partner take Kimbolton Solar Farm into construction and it delivering renewable energy to grid".
