In 2022, Anglo Renewables entered into a Joint Venture (JV) with a funding partner, Falco Capital.
The JV is focused on the development of a portfolio of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Battery storage facilities are essential to allow the UK to meet its legislated targets of reaching Net Zero by 2050. They bridge the gap between the renewable energy created via wind or solar, and when customers need power the most.
James Stone, Managing Director at Anglo Renewables, said "We are really pleased to conclude this deal with Falco Capital which will allow us to push forward and develop our portfolio of BESS projects contributing to our the country’s Net Zero targets".
